WHO'S BUILDING THIS

Built by someone who can't stop building machines.

Instance Labs is built by Yashas Salankimatt, a roboticist who has spent years making industrial-grade machines absurdly affordable: a $500 CNC machine that cuts aluminum — built and run in a college dorm room. A 3D-printed industrial robot arm for $1K. A force-torque sensor at a fraction of the usual price.

Before Instance Labs, Yashas founded Proprio, a robot-arm startup, and Dimensional, an agent-native operating layer for robotics built on ROS. Along the way: autonomous space robots at CMU's Robotics Institute and research for Microsoft Research and NOAA.

The Instance Labs Fabricator is that same philosophy pointed at circuit boards: take a workflow that's been locked inside factories, and put it on your bench.
